Dog collar "Lyon" leather dark brown & brick red
The dog collar consists of full cowhide and is underlaid with soft nappa leather. The fittings are made of brass or chrome. These leather collars are handmade in a traditional German saddlery and sewing shop. The production width reaches from the cutting of the leather hides up to the setting of each individual fitting. The starting point is always the quality of the leather. Only genuine natural leather is used for our Lyon leather collars. For example, naturally dyed nappa leather from Germany and Italy. The greased leather also comes from Germany. So that the collar reacts as resistant as possible to pulling and pushing movements and to avoid expansion, a nylon core is sewn into all leather collars.

Care Lulu Crown collars are made from full cowhide. Cowhide leather has a high strength and resilience due to the dense fibre fabric. Cowhide is so thick that it is split into two layers. The upper, high-quality layer is called full cowhide. Lined with soft nappa leather it becomes a noble product.
Leather is a product of nature and therefore it can come to colour deviations. To care for the full cowhide leather, please remove coarse dirt immediately with a soft cloth. However, excessive rubbing should be avoided. The collar remains beautiful for a long time if you regularly apply a very thin layer of waxy leather grease to the upper leather. The nappa leather on the inside can be easily cleaned with a soft cloth.
The fittings, buckles and D-rings are made of solid metal. Traces of use caused by mechanical friction - metal on metal - are not grounds for complaint.
An important hint if your dog likes swimming in the sea: Take off the collar, because leather absolutely does not like salt water. A collar that has come into contact with salt water will tear more quickly. For a trip to the sea we recommend our REAL LOVE collar with rope LA MER.
